PPP Leader Mir Ghulam Ali Khan Talpur urges increased funding for development in Badin district

In a recent meeting at the CM House in Karachi, Mir Ghulam Ali Khan Talpur, a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the MNA from Badin, engaged with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali to address ongoing development initiatives in Badin district. Talpur emphasized the necessity of adequate funds to ensure the provision of essential services to the district’s residents.

Speaking to the media post-meeting, Talpur highlighted discussions regarding road rehabilitation in his constituency, NA 222.

He proposed the inclusion of several roads in the Provincial Annual Development Programme 2024/25 to enhance infrastructure. Additionally, he extended an invitation to the Chief Minister for the inauguration of Tando Ghulam Ali’s first-ever language laboratory and a pilot program for milk distribution in government primary schools.

Talpur also invited the Chief Minister to inaugurate a public library in Tando Ghulam Ali and distribute scholarships worth Rs3.5 million among students, provided by the town committee.

He expressed hope that the Chief Minister’s visit would result in the announcement of further welfare schemes for the district.

Highlighting the importance of security, Talpur assured the public that law enforcement, under the supervision of SSP Badi Sheeraz Nazeer Abbasi, is actively working to combat crime. He vowed to take decisive action against criminals and ensure the safety and security of the district’s residents.

Talpur reiterated the PPP’s commitment to providing basic amenities and fostering development in Badin and other districts of Sindh, underscoring the party’s dedication to the welfare of the people.
