PPP poised to join federal government amidst ministerial speculations

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is on the verge of joining the federal government following a principled decision post the appointment of governors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended an invitation to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during their recent meeting, signaling a potential collaboration.

While discussions indicate that PPP may secure around 8 ministries, the exact allocation remains pending final deliberation.

However, it’s imperative to note that while reports circulate regarding PPP’s integration into the federal government, no official confirmation has been issued as of yet. Moreover, it’s anticipated that PPP will oversee the Benazir Income Support Program, with Rubina Khalid potentially leading the initiative, subject to consensus.
