PTI dominates in Muzaffargarh in election

MUZAFFARGARH: In a sweeping victory, PTI candidates secured all constituencies in Muzaffargarh district, clinching both national and provincial seats. Only one National and one PA seats were secured by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and PMLN, with the remaining seats won by PTI candidates. On the election day, the network system faced suspension.

In NA 179, Dr Shabbier Ahmad Qureshi, an independent candidate supported by PTI, claimed victory with a substantial margin. Meanwhile, in NA 180, PTI candidate Mian Fayyaz Ahmad Chajra defeated PPP candidate Malik Raza Rabbani Khar with a significant lead.

In the city area of Muzaffargarh, independent candidate Mr. Jamshed Dasti, supported by PTI, emerged victorious with a substantial lead in NA 175. Despite the results being halted in the RO office, thousands of his supporters gathered in front of the DC office. In NA 176, PPP candidate Nawabzada Iftikhar Ahmad Khan secured the victory against PMLN candidate Syed Basit Sultan Bukhari.

PTI candidate Sardar Moazzam Khan Jatoi triumphed over PMLN candidate Syeda Shehr Bano Bukhari in NA 177, while PMLN candidate Amir Talal Gopang secured victory in NA 178.

In the provincial seats of Muzaffargarh, PMLN, PPP, and PTI candidates claimed victories in various constituencies, reflecting a diverse political landscape.

Results for PP 268 saw PML-N candidate Ajmal Khan Chandia securing the lead, while PP 269 witnessed PPP candidate Mian Alamdar Abbas Qureshi emerging victorious. PTI candidate Zahid Ismaiel Bhutta claimed the top position in PP 270.

PP 271 saw PMLN candidate Aoun Hameed Dogar securing victory, while in PP 272, PTI-backed independent candidate Rana Abdul Manan Sajid emerged as the winner. In PP 273, PTI candidate Sardar Daud Khan Jatoi secured a significant lead, and in PP 274, PML-N candidate Syed Sabatin Raza emerged victorious.
