PTI Lahore calls for peaceful protest to advocate for Imran Khan’s release

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lahore has initiated a peaceful movement advocating for the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Secretary General Lahore, Zeeshan Rasheed, announced that on the night of May 8, residents of Lahore are urged to illuminate their mobile phones atop their rooftops, symbolizing solidarity with the cause.

This peaceful demonstration aims to amplify the voice of support for the PTI founder, who is currently in detention. Rasheed emphasized the importance of grassroots organization, highlighting that preparations will be intensified at the union council level over the next 60 days to gear up for the upcoming local elections.
