PTI requested resignations from 20 independent members linked with PMLN and PPP

PTI has sought resignations from over 20 independent members associated with PMLN and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) following interactions with both parties.

According to sources, the PPP and PMLN have engaged in talks with more than 20 independent members who had previously supported the PTI.

It is reported that following these discussions, PTI leader Gohar Khan, through Amir Niazi has formally requested resignations from the concerned members.

The purpose behind this move as stated by sources is to prevent the shift of loyalties among independent members and maintain allegiance to the PTI.

This development adds an intriguing dimension to the ongoing political dynamics as parties engage in efforts to secure the support of independent members and consolidate their positions. The upcoming actions of the independent members in response to these requests will likely have a significant impact on the political landscape in the coming days.
