Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz approves funds for Roshan Gharana Program

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has given the green light for funding the Roshan Gharana Program.

This initiative aims to provide solar kits to power consumers utilizing up to 100 units per month. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by CM Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.

Under the program, eligible households will receive a 1kv solar system, including two solar panels, batteries, an inverter, and wiring.

Additionally, funds were allocated for a state-of-the-art computer lab at the Government College of Technology, along with international undergraduate and local scholarship programs.

Furthermore, the chief minister directed to clear the backlog of vehicle number plates within five months.

In her first address after assuming office as Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz outlined her vision for the next five years, prioritizing plans for consumers utilizing less than 300 units of electricity. She stressed the PML-N’s focus on employment, education, and healthcare during her tenure.
