Punjab launches free motorbike scheme for girls, empowering young women with mobility 

Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative, a free motorbike scheme exclusively tailored for girls across the region.

This announcement, made during the Chief Minister Pink Games’ closing ceremony, aims to empower young women by granting them independent mobility options.

At the celebratory event, which honored the achievements of female athletes, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the pivotal role of parental trust in nurturing their daughters’ potential. Encouraging families to embrace this opportunity, she assured that comprehensive details regarding the scheme’s mechanics and eligibility criteria would soon follow.

The introduction of this initiative coincided with several other significant announcements. Notably, the appointment of a dynamic sports minister tasked with expanding the influence of the Pink Games throughout Punjab was unveiled. Additionally, plans for the Punjab League, expected to engage over one million participants, were disclosed.

Maryam Nawaz directed assistant commissioners to swiftly address public grievances, reaffirming the government’s unwavering commitment to combat corruption. She underscored the paramount importance of prioritizing citizen concerns and upholding transparency, stressing respectful interactions with public representatives.
