Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad has emerged as the top-ranking institution among Pakistani universities, securing an impressive 315th position globally in the latest QS Subject Ranking 2024.
This achievement underscores the university’s commitment to excellence across various disciplines, cementing its status as a premier center of higher education in Pakistan.
QAU has showcased outstanding performances across several subjects, with its Mathematics, Statistics & Operational Research, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Biological Sciences departments securing world rankings between 201 to 351, clinching the top spots in Pakistan in their respective fields. Additionally, the Pharmacy & Pharmacology department has excelled by attaining the 201st position globally and the second position in Pakistan.
Furthermore, the Environmental Sciences, Agriculture & Forestry departments have earned global rankings between 251 to 450.
Impressively, the Computer Science & Information Systems, Economics & Econometrics, and Business & Management Studies departments have also achieved commendable rankings ranging from 351 to 451 in the QS Subject Ranking 2024.
