Railways Police constable saves life of lady passenger

The vigilance and quick response of a railways police constable averted a tragedy and rescued a female passenger from a perilous situation.

Zahida Bibi, while traveling on the Thal Express train from Makhad to Attock City, found herself in a precarious position at Jund station. As she attempted to reboard the moving train after purchasing essential items from the stalls, she lost her balance and fell into the gap between the platform and the train.

Fortunately, Constable Ejaz Haider of Railways Police Peshawar Division, along with a vigilant passenger, sprang into action. The CCTV footage captured the tense moment as they pulled the woman to safety, preventing a potential catastrophe.

Despite the risk involved, Constable Ejaz demonstrated remarkable bravery, sacrificing his own balance to ensure the passenger’s well-being. Grateful for their timely intervention, the woman and her family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the railways police, acknowledging their lifesaving efforts with utmost appreciation.
