Peshawar: A ban has been imposed on selling e-cigarettes and vapes to individuals under the age of 21 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Section 144 has been enforced around educational institutions prohibiting the sale of e-cigarettes and vapes. The Department of Interior and Tribal Affairs has issued a notification to the district administration.
According to the notification, the use of e-cigarettes among children and young adults can lead to addiction and other serious health issues. The implementation of Section 144 is based on the concern of an increase in e-cigarette use.
The sale of e-cigarettes and vapes will be prohibited within a 50-meter radius of all educational institutions.
