After two years since its release, the highly anticipated project “Mrs. & Mr. Shameem,” featuring acclaimed Pakistani showbiz personalities Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz, has finally made its debut in Pakistan.
Originally launched as a Pakistani web series on the Indian-owned platform ‘Zindagi’ ZEE5 on March 11, 2022, the series is now accessible to viewers on YouTube.
The stellar performances of Saba Qamar and Nauman Ijaz have garnered praise from netizens, who admire their impeccable acting skills.
In a recent episode of the show “Kya Drama Hai” (Season 5), hosted by Mukarram Kaleem, esteemed Pakistani actresses Marina Khan, Nadia Khan, and Rubina Ashraf served as judges and discussed the latest episode of “Mrs. & Mr. Shameem.”
During the candid discussion, Rubina Ashraf lauded Saba Qamar’s performance, likening her to the legendary Pakistani actress Roohi Bano.

Known for her iconic roles in television dramas such as “Kiran Kahani” and “Zard Gulab,” Roohi Bano dominated Pakistan’s television industry from the 1970s to the 1990s.

The series revolves around Umaina, an independent woman living in a hostel in Lahore, and Shameem, the elder brother of Umaina’s friend.
Despite societal ridicule directed at Shameem for his effeminate demeanor, circumstances lead them to live together and eventually marry.
As their relationship blossoms, they navigate the challenges of life together, confronting societal norms and personal struggles along the way.
