Salman Ali Agha vows to retain form against Ireland, England

Pakistan all-rounder Salman Ali Agha affirmed his commitment on Saturday to maintain his form during the upcoming T20I series against Ireland and England.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Agha stated, “My current focus is on the series against Ireland and England. Whether I make it to the World Cup squad will be determined by the selectors.”

He emphasized the importance of leaving the past behind, stating, “It is essential to forget the past as players need to prepare themselves for consecutive cricket matches.”

In a separate event, Pakistan all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed praised Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Babar Azam, as the “top batsman” globally.

Addressing the media in Lahore, Ahmed expressed his ambition to secure victory in the upcoming T20 World Cup. “Our aim is not only to defeat India or Canada but to win the World Cup,” he stated.
