A handwritten letter from Bollywood star Salman Khan from the 1990s has reappeared, sparking a wave of nostalgia among his many fans.

This letter, written shortly after the release of the 1989 hit film “Maine Pyar Kiya,” directed by Sooraj Barjatya, has been circulating on social media. It captures Khan’s deep gratitude toward his fans.

In the letter, dated April 1990, Salman Khan thanks his fans for the amazing response to “Maine Pyar Kiya,” a film that made him a major star in Indian cinema.

He addresses his fans with a warm message, saying, “Here is a little something I want you guys to know about me. First, I have to thank you for accepting me and for being my fans.”

The letter also mentions Khan’s focus on choosing quality scripts after the huge success of “Maine Pyar Kiya.” He acknowledges that his future work will be compared to the iconic film, and he promises to give his best to meet those expectations. “I am doing and concentrating on good scripts to the best of my judgment because I know that whatever I do now will be compared to ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’,” he writes.

Khan also talks about the strong bond he shares with his fans. He candidly admits that their support is crucial to his career. “I love you and I hope that you will keep on loving me because the day you stop loving me, you’ll stop seeing my films and that is the end of my career,” he states, highlighting the importance of his fans’ loyalty.

Reflecting on his career, Khan shows a rare glimpse of humility, saying, “People say that I have made it, but I don’t think so. I have yet to make it, but I know one thing, I have been accepted by you.” These heartfelt words resonate with his fans, reinforcing the deep connection between Salman Khan and his dedicated followers.
