Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to make brief Visit to Pakistan next month

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman is set to make a brief visit to Pakistan in the near future, as reported by Geo News on Wednesday.

The report indicated that the Saudi crown prince is expected to undertake the visit during the second week of September.

Scheduled to remain in Pakistan for approximately 4-6 hours on September 10, Mohammad Bin Salman will then proceed to India.

During his stay, the Saudi crown prince is anticipated to hold meetings with Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.

Discussions between the leadership of the two nations will primarily revolve around enhancing Pak-Saudi Arabia relations, strengthening defense bonds, and coordinating joint military exercises, according to insider information.

Furthermore, deliberations about the establishment of a Saudi-financed oil refinery in Pakistan are also anticipated.

It’s worth noting that Mohammad Bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan was initially planned for the previous year but was subsequently postponed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) had affirmed that the visit was being rescheduled, and the final dates would be decided upon through mutual agreement.
