Seema Ghazal’s mystery novel ‘Chaand Ke Qaidi’ now easily available

Who doesn’t know Seema Ghazal, the famous PTV name who would write back-to-back serials for the channel in the early 2000s, producing hits like ‘Mehndi’, ‘Chandni Raatein’, ‘Singhar’, ‘Hum Se Juda Na Hona’ and ‘Manzilein’?

Seema Ghazal might have taken a break from drama writing, which is understandable, considering her countless contributions to the drama industry, but that hasn’t stopped her from trying her creative abilities at other genres of writing. The popular screenwriter’s latest brainchild is a novel titled ‘Chaand Ke Qaidi’.

‘Chaand Ke Qaidi’ has emerged as a highly interesting story for its incorporation of the elements of mystery and horror, something which Seema Ghazal has never tried before.

Every Pakistani knows Ghazal for being a writer whose stories revolve around household issues, particularly the ones with which Pakistani joint families are smitten. The novel, however, has established her as a writer whose creativity knows no bounds and who can still, after giving thousands and thousands of stories, can pen entirely new characters stranded in highly imaginative, and also unpredictable situations.

Following its immense popularity, the novel can now be easily found at bookstores in Lahore and Karachi.
