Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for next film in June

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has disclosed that he will commence shooting for his next film in June 2024.

After a successful year in 2023 with hits like Jawan, Pathaan, and Dunki, Khan feels he can take some time off before diving into his upcoming projects.

In a recent conversation, Khan provided an update on his next venture, stating, “I felt I can rest a little. I have completed three films, all of which required a lot of physical work.

I informed the Kolkata Knight Riders team that I will attend the matches this time.

Fortunately, my shooting is scheduled for August, or maybe July… we plan in June, so it will kick off from June. So, I would love to attend all the home matches because visiting Kolkata feels like coming home to me.”

He emphasized the importance of being present for the matches, prioritizing them over his work schedule.

However, Khan has not disclosed any details about his upcoming project.

Meanwhile, Khan’s younger son AbRam Khan has also been garnering attention with his adorable antics during the ongoing IPL matches.

On the film front, Khan was last seen on the big screen alongside Taapsee Pannu in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.

Rumors suggest that he will next appear alongside his daughter, actress Suhana Khan, in King, although there has been no official confirmation from the makers yet.

After nearly five years, Shah Rukh returned to the silver screen with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan in January 2023.

The film shattered box office records, emerging as one of the highest-grossing films of 2023.

Reportedly, Shah Rukh will also share screen space with Salman Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan, where Tiger (Salman Khan) will face off against Shah Rukh’s character Pathaan.
