Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, is gearing up to make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming musical film titled ‘The Archies.’ The highly anticipated movie is set to be released on Netflix later this year. Before her debut in the entertainment industry, Suhana Khan reportedly made a significant investment in real estate. According to reports, she acquired agricultural land in Thal village, Alibaug, for a sum of Rs 12.91 crore.
The transaction, which took place on June 1, involved Suhana purchasing a 1.5-acre plot of agricultural land along with existing structures measuring 2,218 square feet. The registration documents list Suhana Khan as an agriculturist and indicate that she paid a stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh. These documents were obtained and shared by IndexTap.com. The land was acquired from three sisters named Anjali, Rekha, and Priya Khot, who inherited it from their parents. The property is registered under the name of Déjà Vu Farm Pvt Ltd, a company in which Gauri Khan’s mother and sister serve as directors. Thal village, where the land is situated, is a mere 12-minute drive from the main town of Alibaug.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan also owns a sea-facing property in Thal, boasting amenities such as a swimming pool and a helipad. Several other Bollywood celebrities, including Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, and Virat Kohli, have also invested in luxurious properties in Alibaug.
In addition to her real estate endeavors, Suhana Khan recently signed a significant brand endorsement deal. She was announced as the brand ambassador for Maybelline, a renowned beauty brand, and featured prominently in their latest advertising campaign. Suhana, who has always harbored a desire to pursue a career in front of the camera, received formal acting training at New York University.
In her debut movie “The Archies”, Suhana will portray the character of Veronica Lodge, an adaptation of the popular comics. Joining her in the film is Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, who will play the lead role of Archie Andrews. Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, will also make her debut as Betty Cooper. The movie introduces several other fresh faces, including Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead, Aditi Dot as Midge, and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
