Shaza says, Pakistan ready to lead as IT hub in all sectors

Minister of State for Information Technology, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, highlighted the importance of the IT sector in the development of all industries during her speech at the ITCN Asia Exhibition Expo. She expressed the government’s commitment to making Pakistan an IT hub, in line with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision to support businesses and remove obstacles.

Khawaja stated the promotion of smart apps and ecosystems to create more opportunities for youth, noting that Pakistan is producing 10,000 IT graduates annually. The government is actively working to facilitate ecosystem development, policy-making, and the creation of a conducive environment for IT growth.

Exhibitors at the event praised the initiative to consolidate IT-related information and services in one place, calling it a beneficial move. As the exhibition nears its end on Saturday, organizers anticipate that the direct engagement with IT stakeholders will prove valuable for all participants.
