Stock market dips after record highs

Karachi: Following record highs in the Pakistan Stock Exchange today, a downturn was observed forcing investors to bear losses in millions.

At the beginning of the second day of the business week, the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed record highs however, the trading day concluded in the negative zone. As a result, the Pakistan Stock Exchange closed with a decrease of 100 index points reaching 71,359 points.

It’s worth noting that at the end of the previous trading day, the stock market saw an increase of 523 points closing at 71,433 index points.

Today, transactions worth Rs. 14,889,881,593 were conducted involving the trading of 38,034,454,458 shares.
