Suryakumar Yadav retains top spot in T20I rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released its latest T20I rankings on Wednesday, crowning Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav as the top-ranked batter.

Following closely behind Yadav was England’s Phil Salt, securing the second spot, while Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan claimed third place.

South African batsman Aiden Markram saw a significant rise to the fourth spot in the rankings, whereas Pakistan’s white-ball captain Babar Azam slipped to fifth place.

In the all-rounder rankings, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan claimed the top position.

Meanwhile, England spinner Adil Rashid led the bowling charts, with no Pakistani bowlers breaking into the top ten rankings.

However, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed to the 17th position in the rankings.
