The Pakistan High Commission arranges a reception in Delhi to celebrate Pakistan Day

The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi hosted a reception commemorating Pakistan Day, attended by political leaders, diplomats, business figures, and civil society representatives, including prominent Muslim personalities from Delhi. Saad Ahmed Warraich, the Regulator of Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests at the Chancery Lawn, stating the historical significance of Pakistan Day. He affirmed Lahore Resolution of March 23, 1940, as the cornerstone of the Pakistan Movement and highlighted Pakistan’s progress in democracy, independent media, and civil society.

Saad Ahmed lamented the challenges in bilateral relations between Pakistan and India but expressed optimism that peace and harmony, based on mutual respect and understanding, could pave the way for a better future. He stated the importance of resolving longstanding conflicts, such as the Jammu and Kashmir issue, for regional peace and stability
