Today, on Saturday, flight operations have resumed from Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after a temporary halt. The interruption in flight operations was due to the adverse weather conditions, particularly stormy rains, in Dubai, which persisted for four days.
During this time, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) had been operating eight flights to Dubai on a daily basis.
However, as a result of the severe weather conditions, a total of 31 PIA flights had to be canceled over the course of four days. The heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in Dubai had led to several cities being inundated with water, causing significant disruptions to normal activities.
Furthermore, the Consulate of Pakistan in Dubai had to suspend its services for a day due to the stormy weather conditions. It is important to note that the intensity of the stormy rains in Dubai had surpassed all previous records, with reports indicating that it had broken a 75-year record.
Despite the challenges posed by the extreme weather, flight operations have now been reinstated, allowing for the resumption of travel between Pakistan and the UAE.
