UK Commissioner Jane Marriott calls on FM Ishaq Dar to strengthen bilateral ties

British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott CMG OBE called on Foreign Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar to strengthen bilateral relations.

According to reports from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign minister extended a warm welcome to the High Commissioner Jane Marriott.

Dar highlighted the significance of long historic ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom and discussed the avenues available for both countries to expand these relations further for mutual gains of the two sides.

FM Dar and UK High Commissioner also discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and regional developments.

“They agreed to further advance bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom in all areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, peace and security, and development cooperation.”

The British High Commissioner reciprocated the sentiments about long-standing relations between the two countries and expressed the desire of the British authorities to further foster the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar extended his support and cooperation to the British High Commissioner.
