A policeman in the Jhang district of Faisalabad allegedly made an objectionable video of a married woman after developing a relationship with her and kept getting huge sums of money from her through blackmail.
The woman got fed up and refused to pay him, so the policeman shared the video with the woman’s relatives throughout the village. The husband and sons of the woman tortured the accused policeman and cut off his ears, nose and lips when no action was taken even though a case was registered against him. The police have arrested three suspects involved in the violence and started an investigation.
According to the case filed against the policeman, the woman first sold her jewellery for Rs100,000 and then sold a buffalo and paid the policeman 150,000 rupees when he threatened her with making the video viral. However, when the demands of the policeman allegedly did not end despite repeatedly taking money, the woman got fed up and refused to give him more money.
On which the policeman shared the video of the woman throughout the village, including her relatives after which, on the complaint of the woman’s son, police station Masan registered a case against the police officer but he was not arrested.
The woman’s husband and sons took the law into their hands and attacked the policeman with knives, axes and hammers and cut off his ears, lips and nose and also stabbed him with a knife on his legs, leaving him unconscious.
