Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that whenever they were planning to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan he was granted bail.
He claimed that a bomb-making factory and bulletproof bunker were set up in Imran Khan’s residence and all the terrorists present there had been arrested.
Addressing a press conference, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the no-go area in Zaman Park has been cleared where citizens had problems. He said that the Inspector General (IG) of the Punjab Police will put everything in front of the nation.
The Interior Minister said that there was no operation in Zaman Park but only people were removed. He said that the police had search warrants for Imran Khan’s house from where 16 rifles were recovered. He said that Imran Khan’s mindset has come out and it was the responsibility of the police to clear the no-go area.
Rana Sanaullah claimed that all the terrorists present in Zaman Park have been arrested while weapons and bombs have been recovered from Zaman Park. He said that whatever was found in Zaman Park will be placed before the court. He added that a bulletproof bunker was built in Imran Khan’s residence and a bomb-making factory was set up.
Rana Sanaullah further said that Imran Khan wanted to spread anarchy and chaos in the country.
The interior minister said that there was no plan to arrest Imran Khan who has turned politics into enmity and therefore should be rejected with the power of the vote. Regarding the PTI’s offer of talks, he said that if the PTI wanted talks then they should contact the Prime Minister.
Rana Sanaullah said that when he searched the no-go area today, Maryam Nawaz’s statement proved to be 200 percent correct. He said that there was a strange London plan that the case has not yet been made and Imran Khan gets relief.
