Women are better drivers compared with men, the latest research has revealed.

The scientists of New Castle University have conducted research on drivers of different groups. The research was conducted through the driving simulator.

The researchers have found better response times for women as compared with men. It also stated that women are better at controlling vehicles than men and their ratio of accidents was also less.

According to The Times report, 43 percent male and 33 percent female drivers were included in the test. The female drivers controlled their vehicles better and had strong control over the steering wheel.

According to scientists, male drivers took a response time of 2.63 seconds whereas female drivers consumed 2.45 seconds as their response time.

The research has concluded that the trend of women drivers involved in road accidents was less. However, it has also been found that the trend of failure in driving tests was more in women drivers. More female drivers fail their driving tests whereas male drivers have a better percentage of passing their driving tests.
