World universities ranking includes 13 Pakistani universities

The QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Global topic ranking for 2023 includes 13 Pakistani universities.

According to the most recent QS rankings, LUMS was placed between 301-350 on the topic of Law & Legal Studies while Quaid-i-Azam University was ranked between 151-200 in the area of Statistics & Operational Research.

The University of Punjab was ranked between 501 and 530, the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) between 401 and 450, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad between 348 and 348, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) between 279 and 279, and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) at 160 in the category of Engineering & Technology.

NUST was ranked at position 148 in the area of computer science and information systems, followed by COMSAT University Islamabad at positions 251-300, LUMS, the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, UET at positions 401-450, and the University of Punjab at positions 451-500.

In the category of Life Sciences & Medical, Aga Khan University Karachi was ranked 391; in the category of Natural Sciences, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad was ranked 346; COMSAT University Islamabad and NUST were ranked between 451 and 500.

According to the QS Global Ranking, Dow University’s medical school was ranked 601-650.
