Afghanistan bans Islamic political organization Hizb-ul-Tahrir

The Islamic Emirate has banned three groups including the pan-Islamist and fundamentalist political organization Hizb ut-Tahrir in Afghanistan.

According to the statement issued, Hizb ut-Tahrir has publicly backed the Afghan Jihad since the beginning and its Afghan branch has been propagating myths about the Jihad in Afghanistan and referring to it as a game.

It also stated that this is the main reason why the Islamic Emirates doesn’t support Hizb ut-Tahrir.

It further said that “we concur with their viewpoints and those of every other Islamic party but disagree with the approach.” The method we agree with is only of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In addition, more parties divide the Muslim population’s power as is the situation in Pakistan and since Afghanistan is now Dar-ul-Islam, any separate set-up there in the presence of the state that divides the public under various flags is destructive to Dar-ul-Islam.
