Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal criticized Javed Latif for his comments made against former Prime Minister Imran Khan at a news conference.
On Thursday, Ahsan Iqbal said that the religion card shouldn’t be used against political rivals.
Ahsan Iqbal responded to Latif’s remarks, which received condemnation for stirring animosity against the head of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a tweet.
He said that Javed Latif is my colleague, but I will say gently that if Imran is using the religion card, we shouldn’t play on his side because he has to compete with politics and has nothing to offer.
He further stated that I have a bullet of hate in my body that keeps me from using the religious card to degrade my political rivals.
