Aasia Bibi, who was abducted 17 years ago, has been found in Toba Tek Singh. Originally from Chakoti, Azad Kashmir, her family relocated to Islamabad after the 2005 earthquake.
Aasia was taken when she was 13 by a man named Mustafa Kumar in 2007 from Shehzad Town.
She was then sold to an elderly man and remained with him until a video of her sharing her story circulated widely.
Following this, the AJK government intervened, leading to her discovery by police in Pit Mehal, Toba Tek Singh.
Currently, she has been relocated to a shelter and will soon be reunited with her family.
