Following the conclusion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9, the former Pakistan cricket captain, Babar Azam, embarked on a journey to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, accompanied by fellow Test cricketer, Imam-ul-Haq.
Departing from Lahore Airport, Azam, accompanied by his brother, performed the Umrah pilgrimage soon after the PSL season ended.
Throughout the ninth edition of PSL, Babar Azam’s team, Peshawar Zalmi, advanced to the playoff stage but was defeated by Islamabad United in the Eliminator 2.
Islamabad United eventually clinched the trophy for the third time.
