Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has met with Pakistan’s second Nobel laureate Malala Yousufzai.
Bilawal shared his picture with Malala Yousufzai, girl education campaigner, on his Twitter account.
Bilawal stated in his tweet that he had exchanged views on women’s rights and girls’ education along with the situation of floods in Pakistan and “challenges of the climate catastrophe to education for millions of young children affected, with thousands of schools destroyed and difficult days ahead”.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also met with China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the UNGA.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral ties. The two sides had a comprehensive exchange of views on the entire spectrum of bilateral partnership and multilateral cooperation, including at the United Nations.
This was the fourth meeting of Bilawal Bhutto with Wang Yi since the foreign minister assumed office in April 2022.
