Court directs Azam Swati to face FIA inquiry

A judicial order has been issued mandating the initiation of an investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) into Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader, Azam Swati, regarding a case involving alleged propaganda against state institutions.

The case revolves around the purported dissemination of content on the internet targeting state institutions, as deliberated during a session court proceeding.

Azam Swati’s interim bail, extending until May 21, has been granted by the court, alongside a directive to refrain police authorities from effecting his arrest until the specified date. Furthermore, the court has called for the submission of case records from the FIA at the upcoming hearing.

It is pertinent to mention that the FIA has filed a case against Azam Swati concerning the dissemination of content on the internet perceived to be against state institutions.
