British Consulate delegation visits Adiala Jail, meets British prisoners

A recent visit to Adiala Jail by a two-member delegation from the British Consulate saw them meeting with British nationals incarcerated there. The delegation, consisting of Adeela and Imran, engaged with the prisoners during their visit.

The delegation’s primary purpose was to provide consular support to British citizens imprisoned at Adiala Jail. Among the detainees they met were Khalid, held on charges related to a murder case, and Haris, incarcerated in connection with a drug-related offense. The meetings took place within the office of the Deputy Superintendent of the jail.

This visit follows a request made by British prisoners to the embassy for consular access to Adiala Jail.
