By-elections: Latif Khosa optimistic about PTI’s prospects at Polls

Sardar Latif Khosa, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), expressed optimism on Tuesday regarding the upcoming by-elections, hoping that the public will cast their votes in favor of his party.

Addressing the media in Lahore, Khosa remarked, “During the general elections, when were we allowed to hold rallies? The public showed their discontent by voting for us in the general elections.”

Khosa took a dig at the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), asserting that democracy is lacking within the party. He highlighted the challenges faced by farmers and the general populace in Sindh.

Meanwhile, PTI leader Omar Ayub alleged that “pre-poll rigging” has commenced ahead of the upcoming by-elections.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Ayub claimed, “The Returning Officer was instructed to provide Form 45 to PTI. The incumbent government came into power through Form 47, which violates the constitution.”

Addressing the Iran-Israel conflict, Ayub noted the absence of a policy statement and warned of a potential gasoline price hike shortly.

Challenging the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Ayub dared them to organize a public gathering in Chaman.

Welcoming the Saudi delegation to Pakistan, Ayub also criticized the Punjab Inspector General for failing to ensure the safety of police personnel.

Highlighting unemployment issues, Ayub emphasized the hardships faced by the masses and made remarks regarding security cameras allegedly installed in Bushra Bibi’s rooms.
