CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja travels to Brazil for EVM system study

The court has approved a two-day physical remand for Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) officers arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on charges of creating fake billing and false entries.

The FIA presented the arrested GEPCO officers and employees before the court, which granted approval for their physical remand and handed them over to the FIA.

The accused include five revenue officers, an assistant manager, additional managers, six divisional account officers, and five commercial assistants and employees.

FIA had initiated a case against the GEPCO officers and employees for their involvement in creating fake billing and false entries. It should be noted that a total of 20 officers and employees of GEPCO were arrested by the FIA the previous night.
