Regarding the suicide attack in Bisham, the police say that the convoy of 12 vehicles was under foolproof security.

A letter has been dispatched by the police to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) to register a case of the attack on a convoy carrying Chinese nationals in Shangla. In the correspondence sent by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bisham police station, it is requested to file a First Information Report (FIR) under the provisions of terrorism.

The account mentions that it was reported that a suicide attack targeted the Chinese convoy in Nala Bisham, Lahore. Acting on this information, the police team promptly arrived at the scene. The Chinese convoy, comprising 12 vehicles, was en route from Islamabad to Dasu Dam Kohistan, under comprehensive security measures.

As per the communication from the police, en route, a suicide bomber drove a car loaded with explosives into a coaster that was part of the convoy. The resulting explosion engulfed the coaster in flames, causing it to plummet into a deep ditch. Tragically, the incident claimed the lives of five Chinese individuals aboard the coaster, along with a Pakistani driver. The vehicle used in the blast sustained extensive damage, and the body parts of the suicide bomber were scattered in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the communication highlighted that another vehicle in the convoy also incurred damage due to the explosion. Fortunately, other Chinese nationals and security personnel in the convoy escaped unscathed. It is urged that an FIR be registered against unknown terrorists in connection with the incident.
