Pakistan Army has established an inquiry committee to look into allegations of misconduct against former ISI chief General Faiz Hameed (Retd).
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the committee was set up following directives from the higher judiciary and the defense ministry.
The committee’s primary task is to investigate the allegations leveled against Gen Faiz Hameed (Retd) and compile a comprehensive report on the matter.
If the allegations are found to be true, the inquiry committee has been tasked with providing recommendations regarding Faiz Hameed.
Gen Faiz Hameed was accused of using his influence in connection with a housing society in Islamabad, prompting the Supreme Court of Pakistan to hold hearings on the matter.
