A mass grave was discovered at the al-Shifa Medical Complex following a devastating Israeli attack last month, which left the hospital in ruins in Gaza City.
Several bodies were discovered in the hospital’s courtyard, including one individual, dressed only in underwear, who seemed to have been executed recently.
According to reports from the Middle East Eye, after Israeli forces pulled out of the hospital on April 1st, teams from various government ministries were dispatched to al-Shifa to locate and identify the deceased.
These efforts were prompted by accounts from survivors who claimed to have witnessed the summary execution of Palestinians by Israeli forces during the two-week assault that began in mid-March.
