District education authority initiates inquiry into alleged murder case at private school in Multan

In Multan, a private school student’s alleged murder case has prompted the District Education Authority to establish a three-member inquiry committee.

The committee, chaired by the District Education Officer for Elementary(women), Dr. Shumaim Akhtar Sial, will investigate the incident that occurred at the main branch of Nishat School, where a student’s body was reportedly found in a classroom.

Other members of the committee include the Deputy District Education Officer for Elementary (Male) Muhammad Aslam Qaisarani, and an Assistant Education Officer.

The school administration has not yet provided any clarification regarding the incident.

The inquiry committee has been tasked with compiling a fact-finding report to present to the CEO of Education.
