Dubai Food Festival 2024, culinary extravaganza set to delight taste buds from April 19 to May 12

The 11th Dubai Food Festival, organized by Dubai’s Festivals and Retail Establishment, is scheduled to run from April 19 to May 12, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences across the city. Over 50 of Dubai’s popular dining spots will be featured, catering to various tastes. Among the highlights is the return of the popular 10 Dirham Dish pop-up, showcasing expertly crafted dishes. Past editions have included unique foodie experiences such as limited-edition menus, guided food tours, and cooking classes led by renowned chefs.

This year, the festival introduces the Gault&Millau Culinary Innovators showcase, where 12 of Dubai’s top chefs will present their creations from April 25-27 at ICD Brookfield’s ‘The Space’. Lucky ticketholders will enjoy an 11-course tasting menu, sampling dishes from each chef team’s kitchen stall, accompanied by beverage pairings. Additionally, Dubai Restaurant Week from April 26-May 12 will offer curated prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus at affordable prices.

The beloved e& Beach Canteen will return from April 19-May 5 at Jumeirah Beach, while Chef’s Menu, running from May 1-12, will feature exclusive menus by Dubai’s leading chefs at premium restaurants, offering insight into their culinary creativity.

Dubai’s culinary scene has flourished in tandem with its overall growth, including developments in real estate and visa policies. The city’s rise is evident in its increasing number of chef-driven eateries and its attainment of Michelin stars. In 2022, Dubai was awarded 11 Michelin stars across its dining establishments, marking its status as a global culinary destination.
