English captain Jos Buttler won the toss in the finals against Pakistan at MCG and invited Babar Azam and co to bat first in rainy conditions at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

Rain in the host city poses a threat to the final game between the two teams because the short-format match is likely to be interrupted by showers.

Shower probabilities in the city today have decreased from 95% to 46%, per the weather prediction. Shower probabilities decreased to 41% and 44%, respectively, between 7 and 8 o’clock.

From 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. today, there will be a 53% to 65% probability of rain in Melbourne.

Pakistan team is playing with the same squad as in the last game with Captain Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan to open the innings.

Cricket experts have put their weight on youngster Muhammad Harris to be the trump card along with Shadab Khan as a man of the tournament.

Shaheen Afridi and Harris Rauf will also be important for Pakistan to defend the target, however, England will be dependent heavily on Jos Buttler, Stokes and Mark Wood.
