English team arrives in Pakistan after 17 years to play seven T20Is

The English cricket team finally arrived in Pakistan for a bilateral series after a 17-year-long gap.

On Thursday, the English cricket squad arrived in Karachi on an Emirates flight through Dubai.

According to police officials, the visiting delegation was subjected to stringent security measures during their transfer from the Karachi Airport to the hotel.

Pakistan and England will face off in seven Twenty20 Internationals in Karachi and Lahore from September 20 to October 2.

The National Stadium will host the first four games of the series, while the Gaddafi Stadium will host the final three.

Pakistani team will be led by Babar Azam and the English team will enter the ground under the captaincy of Jos Buttler.

This series is essential for preparation for the T20 World Cup in Australia next month.

The English team will begin practicing and attend a training session at the National Stadium on September 16.
