Gandapur should learn service politics from Maryam: Azma

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari remarked on Tuesday that it’s commendable to see Ali Amin Gandapur’s administration adopting the commendable initiatives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. “Earlier, I said that Ali Amin should take notes on public service politics from Maryam Nawaz”.

Addressing a press briefing in Lahore, Azma Bokhari expressed satisfaction that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also benefit from affordable bread.

She elaborated, “Now I’m completely convinced that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is greatly inspired by Maryam Nawaz’s vision. We aim for the same facilities for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as those available to the people of Punjab.”

The provincial information minister further advocated for the provision of low-cost bread and air ambulance services to the people of Sindh and Balochistan. She stressed that true progress comes when there’s equitable development and fair allocation of resources.

Azma hoped that Ali Amin would steer clear of the paths taken by Buzdar, Khattak, and Mehmood Khan, and utilize public funds for public welfare rather than lining the pockets of relatives.

She affirmed that directives to provide affordable bread would be enforced without compromise. Azma cautioned that the opposition of the Nanbai association to low-cost bread wouldn’t deter the government’s resolve. “Necessary measures have been taken to ensure the implementation of this directive”.

Azma said that gone are the days when plans remained confined to paper. She emphasized Maryam Nawaz’s unwavering resolve by stating that ‘impossible’ isn’t in her vocabulary. “The Air Ambulance service will commence in June; training is underway, and two helicopters will be part of the rescue service”.

Furthermore, Azma criticized the performance of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that their accomplishments are limited to inscribing ‘804’ on their leader’s shoe.

Regarding Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the provincial minister mentioned her modest attire worth Rs800, leaving it to others to believe or not. She highlighted the significant positive changes Maryam has brought into her life.
