ICC T20 World Cup trophy to arrive in Pakistan tonight

The ICC T20 World Cup trophy is set to arrive in Pakistan tonight for a three-day visit.

The trophy will be brought to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Saturday at 4:30 PM and will also be presented at the Gaddafi Stadium during the Pakistan-New Zealand T20 international match.

During its stay, the T20 World Cup trophy will visit cities like Abbottabad and Lahore.

The T20 World Cup 2024 will kick off on June 1, with co-hosts USA facing arch-rival Canada, followed by the West Indies playing against Papua New Guinea in Guyana on the second day.

The tournament will utilize three venues in the USA and six in the Caribbean. Ten teams out of the 20 will play their first matches in the USA, with 16 matches scheduled in Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York.

The highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is set to take place at the new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island on June 9.
