IG Punjab ensures health welfare for police force

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is actively implementing measures to ensure the health and welfare of the police force.

In line with this commitment, IG Punjab has allocated additional funds for the treatment of police personnel and their families stationed across various districts.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is overseeing consistent efforts to support the health needs of police personnel. As part of these ongoing initiatives, more than 0.5 million rupees have been allocated by the IG Punjab for the medical treatment of employees serving in different districts.

Specifically, ASI Muhammad Amjad from Investigation Punjab received Rs 100,000 for medical expenses, while ASI Saif ud din from Multan was granted the same amount for the treatment of a leg fracture. Additionally, Rs 100,000 was released for the cancer treatment of the late Muhammad Akram’s wife from the Special Branch Faisalabad.

Further aid includes Rs 85,627 for the kidney treatment of Police Constable Muhammad Aslam from Mandi Bahauddin and Rs 88,435 for the liver disease treatment of retired Constable Muhammad Mumtaz from Pakpattan. Head Constable Zeeshan Ahmed from PHP DG Khan received Rs 70,000 for his wife’s thyroid treatment, and retired Driver Constable Khalid Maqsood was provided with Rs 27,800 for a wheelchair purchase.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has instructed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to continue these efforts for the health welfare of police employees. He emphasized the importance of ensuring adequate medical support for all police personnel and their families facing medical challenges.
