Former prime minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi’s visit to the flood-affected areas has been postponed due to bad weather.
On Friday, Imran Khan and Pervez Elahi were to visit the flood-affected area of Rojhan and a helipad was also prepared on the Indus Highway near Shamshabad.
According to media reports, Imran Khan and Parvez Elahi’s visit to Rojhan was postponed due to bad weather conditions. A meeting between PTI MNAs and MPAs with Imran Khan on his visit was also postponed.
Rajanpur district in Punjab has been completely submerged in water due to heavy rains and floods. There is a shortage of food in the area; children and adults are suffering from different diseases.
Dera Ghazi Khan is also under the influence of rains and flood for 20 days. The city is also facing the danger of flooding due to the speed of the water. The district administration claims that the city is not in danger, and the water is going toward the rural areas.
