Pakistan’s Foreign Office affirms strong bilateral relations with Iran and ongoing progress on CPEC

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, conveyed during a weekly press briefing held in Islamabad on Friday that significant progress continues to be made on the implementation of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

She stated the enduring and robust bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran, highlighting that discussions during the recent leadership meeting encompassed a wide array of regional issues.

Expressing Pakistan’s stance on the matter, Baloch advocated for an urgent cessation to the atrocities unfolding in Gaza, condemning vehemently the ongoing Israeli aggression in Palestine.
