Jinnah House attack case: Interim bails of Imran’s sisters extended

In Lahore, the Anti-Terrorism Court recently decided to extend the interim bail of 34 individuals accused in the Jinnah House attack case, among them being Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan, who are sisters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, along with opposition leader Omar Ayub.

During the court session presided over by duty judge Arshad Javed, Aleema and Uzma, whose interim bail had expired, appeared before the court.

The court granted an extension of interim bail until May 21 for all 34 accused, including the PTI founder’s sisters, and requested the investigating officer to present a comprehensive investigation report at the next hearing.

Aleema Khan, addressing the media outside the court, highlighted the public’s stance against oppression, paralleling the events of February 8 and April 21. She mentioned the PTI founder’s call for lawyers to safeguard Form-45 and stressed the importance of acquiring Form-47 without any tampering, echoing Imran Khan’s sentiments.
