Senator Irfan Siddiqui of the Muslim League (N) said that the Judicial Council holds judges accountable, it is not a form of accountability for agencies.
Reacting to the letter of judges of Islamabad High Court, Irfan Siddiqui said that we need to understand that the Supreme Judicial Council is not for agencies, it is for holding judges accountable.

The senator from the PML-N further said that this is a special favor being done for the protection of the accused of May 9.
Irfan Siddiqui recalled that in the past it was made certain that Faiz Hamid’s two years of hard work would not go to waste and Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz would not be released from jail before the elections.
